There are many reasons a couple may choose not to be married in a church or synagogue. • Meet with a couple different JPs to get a feel for what options they can offer you.

• You should feel comfortable and confident in the person you ultimately choose.

• Work with the Justice of the Peace you choose to come up with a ceremony and vows which suit your individual style.

• Review with them the date, and time of your rehearsal as well as your ceremony.
